Beginning on March 1st, 2023, the following increase and changes are being implemented. You will see these changes reflected on your next billing.
WATER:
A 5% increase for water rates. No change in billing structure.
SEWER:
A minimum charge of $88.00 will be charged to all custo1ners that includes usage up to 4000 gallons. Usage exceeding 4000 gallons will be charged $22.00 per 1000 gallons up to 50,000 gallons. Those customers that use more than 50,000 gallons
will be charged $12.50 for each 1000 gallons over that limit.
Callery Borough customers will no longer be receiving the $25.00 discount that was part of the purchase agreement between the EC\VSA and Callery Borough.
Sample Sewer Charges for Customer John Doe
- In March, Mr. Doe's meter shows that he used 3500 gallons. So, his sewer charge will be $88.00.
- In April, Mr. Doe uses 5000 gallons. So, for April his sewer charge will be $110.00.
- In May Mr. Doe has a higher usage of 6000 gallons. So, for May his sewer charge will be $ 132.00.
